This Valentino Garavani ballpoint pen dates from the 1980s. It is made in black lacquered metal with gold trim and an engraved logo, and was made in Italy. It measures 13.5 cm and weighs 21 g.

Valentino Garavani opened his house in Rome at the end of the 1950s. With his partner Giancarlo Giammetti he built it into an international couture name.
In the 1980s fashion houses extended their names to pens and desk accessories, often in lacquer and gold finishes.
